They only work as well as the people who use them, so some people I still know nothing about. I use facebook to spam people with news articles, though, so I guess I’m not one to talk. =D

Just think of the social networking sites as a good way to be friendly towards — but not have to spend any time with — people who you probably don’t want to be around.

In reality they are a fun way to see what’s going on with other people. I have to keep reminding myself to post fun looking pictures to persuade all my online friends what a cool life I live.

It looks as if he asked you out on impulse, without really thinking it through. Almost as if your acceptance of the invitation had taken him by surprize.

Anyway, if you hadn’t said yes, you’d still be asking yourself what you might have missed. Nothing was lost for you, and we (your readers) gained another interesting blog post!

With you expecting to be a total bitch to him all night, and him reputed to be nothing but mean to you, tomorrow’s date should be a total failure. To you, that is. To the readers of your blog, however, this looks like the perfect prologue to another edition of your First Dates series.

When you wrote on Twitter about the proposed date, I pictured the faces of those colleagues of yours who have conceded to the fact that you “do not date co-workers”, when they learn you went on a date with the person a.k.a. The Grinch. Just imagining their reaction was already most entertaining.
